Summer Dump

We had a full fun summer, but in an effort to keep somewhat up to date, the rest of the summer pictures are just going to get dumped into one post.

We attended a wedding for my cousin in St. Louis, which was a great excuse to hang out with my whole family at Emily's house...and a great excuse to dress up and eat fancy food at a beautiful reception. It was not however, a great excuse to for Kevin to dance. He may bust a move while doing dishes in our kitchen, but his days of publicly embarassing himself are over.
It was great to be with my sisters. Times like this don't happen often enough.
End of summer is the time for yearly physicals. I normally don't take pictures of the kids at the doctor's office, but Ada was just too cute in her paper dress.
We have a picture on this same fence (at Camp Nelson) from last year and we can see how much they have grown from last summer. They may not all share the same genes, but somehow they all have long gangly legs.
I am not sure a cat is what they are looking at in this picture, but it reminds me of our "pet" cat Brownie, who is actually a stray cat I have been feeding. The kids feel like they have a pet, the cat loves it, and I don't have do anything but put a little food in a bowl. Win-win-win. One of the most genius idea I have had ever as a mother.

This summer Ada learned to ride her bike and Oliver is loving his balance bike. These two are rarely this close to each other with smiles on thier faces. Maybe I should frame this picture as a sign of hope for all those times they are fighting.

Did you chop your hair or just pull it back? Either way, beautiful! Miss you so much!
