Boredom can be good

Last week after the gale force winds and storms that swept through the area, several large branches were down in our yard.

One afternoon, Cambel was in a desperate fight against boredom while I was busy inside. Apparently desperate times bring out the powers of the imagination, because after some time of working Cambel called me out to see what he had made:

A "teepee" that he used for the next several days to occupy his playtime.

So boredom can be a good thing (and ignoring the kids is sometimes an effective parenting strategy).
