And now we'll talk about Easter

You would think that with such cute outfits, I would have gotten around to posting our Easter pictures a lot sooner. But these pictures only tell part of the story of our day (they leave out Ada's meltdown, and the Easter dinner roast that was very rare and had to be hastily pan-fried by my Dad and Mom while the rest of my well designed meal rapidly cooled). In the morning when the day was still full of promise, Cambel and Ada looked so sweet in their Easter outfits (which, if I may brag, were purchased at a consignment store for a fraction of their original cost) that I took some preliminary pictures thinking we would get more later.

Unfortunately by the time "later" rolled around, Ada was only wearing this:
Thank goodness for a little foresight on my part.

Despite the crisis with the meal and Ada's less than joyful spirit, it was a great day. We were reminded again of the joy that is ours because of Christ's life, death, and resurrection, and filled with thanksgiving for this life that is ours because of His sacrifice.
