I love the 80's

I may just buy a pair for myself ( but I think I would wear them with more than just a onesie)

She looks like a (very warm) dancer. (I staged this photo. She can't dance yet...or stand up)

As a general rule, I think the 80's were a bad time for fashion (although a great time for music... I mean is anyone going to debate me when I say that the greatest love songs ever come from the 80's? I think not).  But I think we all could have done without the  big hair, blue eyeshadow, oversized sweaters, etc.  (And even though all these styles seem to be sneaking their way back into mainstream fashion, and eventually I will probably give into the peer pressure of the masses and begin to think that some of them look good, and perhaps even don a few myself, let me just say for the record that they still look dumb. And in another few decades, we will wonder why on earth we did it. Just for the record).
Anyway, one fashion item from the 80's that I am happy about is legwarmers. Mainly because they are really warm--hence the name (and when you are completely out of the fashion loop as I am and you live in the the freezing cold and blowing tundra of Indiana, you will choose warm no matter what it looks like). I bought a pair of these toasty warm fashion statements for Ada and I must say she looks totally 80's cute.
So bring on the 80's! (as long as I don't have to poof up my bangs)

Followed your link from another blog. Where did you get those?
i'm thinking that they would be fabulous for little ones that have to have lots of diaper changes through the day.

Hilarious--never saw the practicality in baby leg warmers before but Ada is making it work for her! Did you buy yourself a matching set?
