Ada is allergic to Christmas

It appears that Ada is allergic to Christmas...

Since Sunday she has run a fever for 3 days, acquired a new tooth, which apparently is causing her much pain and distress, refused to eat more times than not, been grumpy and at time inconsolable, gotten us out of bed in the middle of the night because she is screaming, and developed a strange rash. 

It sounds serious, but don't worry, the doctor says it is teeth and maybe a virus. 

Or its the holidays. The stress of it all has just put Ada over the edge. 

In response to her less than pleasant holiday spirit, we have just been stuffing her face with cheerios, because this seems to make her a little bit happier.  Since I am trying to make Christmas happen around here, this job of force feeding Ada has fallen on Cambel--and he is good. He tells her in no uncertain terms that it is time to eat and it is "not playtime" and to "face me Ada." Cambel must have a really good role model for a mom.
