Snow Day

We had quite a bit of snow today, so Cambel got to try out his new snowpants. Although he was excited I was less than thrilled that winter is already upon us. But I put aside my own feelings and helped him get all bundled up. I even went out with him, threw some snowballs, ate some snow, made a snow angel, and got a tremendous amount of freezing cold snow down my shirt. This kind of enthusiasm deserves some sort of award.

I am still not sure why kids LOVE to play in the snow, apparently we lose that gene as we get older. We had a couple snow flakes in the air yesterday and Olivia was ready to go out to play!

While you are playing out in the snow, I am feeling like the bad mom because Lydia was unable to go in the snow yesterday at school. Why? Because her mother has not gotten her boots yet this year - and the neglected kids without boots can not play in the snow.

Hey thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. Your blog is sooooo good. You are such a fun writter. I find it hard to stop reading all your older posts. I've never actually "met" Stacey, in person. But we are bloggy friends. I found her blog through Kim H.'s blog.

Anywho...you do look familiar. I'll look for you next time at story time. :) Somehow I always feel so pre-occupied at the library with the kids.
