We didn't get hit like the East Coast did, but storm Jonas still dumped several inches on us, which here, is enough to knock the kids out of school for 4 days.
Before the snow hit, Cambel and Oliver had their first basketball games.
Watching Cambel play
Once the snow came, the kids (especially the boys) did a lot of playing in the snow and sledding...
...which left our living room looking like this.
On Sunday the roads were clear enough for us to drive to Shaker Village to hike
Monday the snow was melting, but the back roads were still bad so school was cancelled again. We drove into Lexington and picked up Alpha--whose parents are Rwandan--and he spent the last snow day with us.
The snow clothes are put away, the snow is in slushy piles, and the kids are back in school...and the house is oh so beautifully quiet. And even though I'm happy to be back to "normal" --they were good snow days.
