Our last big trip of the summer was heading up to Indiana for a Harriman family reunion in honor of my grandparents 70th anniversary.
SEVENTY YEARS.
What a gift to watch 2 people be faithful to each other for so long and through so much life. And there were so many of us there--children, grandchildren, great grandchildren--who owe so much of who we are to their commitment to God and each other. We ate and laughed and introduced cousins to our kids and just enjoyed being together.
You would think I would have taken some pictures to commemorate the time. But I just took these 2:
