Lemonade and Cookies for Congo

Cambel and Ada worked together to set up a lemonade and cookie stand to raise money for Giving Back to Africa in Congo. I can't entirely remember how this came about, but I think it was Cambel's idea and then Ada ran with it (because planning and dreaming are her spiritual gifts).
We printed off signs and they biked all over town hanging them up. Ada was the one to go into businesses and ask if they could hang one up. I was impressed with her courage.
They helped make cookies (read: they ate cookie dough) and mixed up lemonade and I helped them set up on Asbury's campus. And then they were more or less on their own, with Kevin and I dropping in some to check on them. At the end of the afternoon they had made $88 to send to GBA. We were so proud of them.
(Oliver decided he needed to remove his shirt right before this picture )
