Easter

Somewhere on the camera I have some more pictures of Easter, but they aren't too much better than this one. It is proving to be impossible to get a good picture--even a mediocre one--of all these crazy kids together. It was fortunate that I was purposefully reminding myself to not focus on the clothes and how the kids looked, but on why we are really celebrating this holiday (something tells me Jesus wasn't too concerned about what we would wear on Easter when He was carrying out God's plan of salvation).

After church we had lunch with some dear friends, and then Kevin tore down to Kentucky with Cambel and Ada to watch the NCAA tournament (Louisville was playing for a spot in the final four. And in case you have been living in a hole, they went on to win the whole thing. There was some major celebrating going on in our house on Monday night!).

It turned out to be a pretty nice day and I took Oliver on walk at our nearby state park. Signs was in the air and it was a good time to reflect on new life--physical and spiritual. (I was doing most of the reflecting. Oliver was more interested in the dogs he saw).
