Some time ago he was dedicated...

We had Oliver dedicated at church all the way back on Mother's Day. I got so overwhelmed with getting us dressed and out the door on time that I forgot the camera. Thankfully, another family was dedicating their son during the same service and they didn't forget their camera. They sent us the pictures and then I forgot to post them. (Forgetting is becoming a theme).

From the beginning, as with all of our kids, Oliver was God's more than ours. But since we knew of Oliver before we could bring him home, we felt that more poignantly with him. Having him dedicated in our church is just our way of reaffirming our purpose to love and parent him in a way that helps him know the Father--who already knows him so well.

Our good looking boy on his dedication day (Cambel wore the same jacket for his dedication)

It must have been hard to get a picture of our whole family looking kind of normal...

...especially when Ada apparently spent most of the time hiking up her dress. If you can redirect your gaze to Kevin and Oliver though you will see the sweet connection they have.
