Cambel has been asking for a Kindergarten graduation since his class did not have one. He loved Kevin's graduation put on by his family, and he requested a similar one for himself (isn't it wonderful that our kids aren't old enough to realize that we are really weird?)
Kevin and I finally decided on the spur of the moment that it was either now or never. We gave Cambel a sport coat and a graduation cap, Kevin wore his gown, and I wore a bed sheet.
Kevin gave a speech based on an acronym for AWESOME and I sang (thankfully this time it was not recorded). Weird as we are, I bet no one in his class had their own personal graduation ceremony. Some day he will either love us for this or pretend he doesn't know us.

The second I hit "publish" I will regret posting this picture. I guess it is my way of preserving for Cambel just how far I would go to make him happy. |
