A vacation from our problems

We are on week 2 of our family/extended family vacation. We spent last week with Kevin's family on St. Simon's Island and this week it is just our family enjoying some time away from the norm (or as Dr. Leo Martin prescribed for Bob, a vacation from our problems).
We are so thankful for Kevin's teaching schedule and that it allows us to be so flexible with our summers. While Kevin is still dutifully plugging away at his dissertation (he's up to 119,000 words) we are fully embracing the idea of vacation...which means we are swimming, biking, eating more than we need, and indulging in ice cream on a regular basis.

And somehow staying as cute as ever.
