and then Kevin took a trip to Scotland for his doctoral work while I took the kids to Papa and Nana's (where we got to see our new nephew Nolan), I volunteered (aka didn't know how to say no) to helping out at Vacation Bible School for a whole week, my sister's kids (all three of them) spent the night, we took another trip to Louisville to see Nolan again and the other cousins who were visiting, my sister Emily and her family came to attend the 100th anniversary of World Gospel Mission where our Dad works, we met up with some of our best friends from Colorado, my brother-in-law broke his neck, we attended 3 days of the mission celebration, Kevin flew to England to present a paper at a conference, we celebrated our 8 year anniversary on separate continents, I spent precious time and energy training for a triathlon, and then finally we were all home, together, with no big plans for a few days and I was just too tired to try to figure out how to blog any of it.
Until now that is. Obviously I have been creatively inspired--who would have ever thought to just write it all down in one long meandering run-on sentence and then add some pictures?
