The gift that keeps on giving

Of course I have lots of great Christmas pictures--we had a wonderful time with Kevin's family, and Cambel now has enough Transformers to keep me banging my head against the wall while I try to transform them, for weeks to come.
But the beauty of Christmas has been overshadowed just a bit by the lovely gift of the stomach flu we received via Ada.
Vomit...the gift that keeps on giving.
So instead of basking in the after-Christmas glow and playing with all the Christmas loot, we've been doing a lot of this:

and a lot of laundry.

I am mentally devising a delightful new coffee table book filled with blurbs about the way Christmas really is (everywhere except on television.) I'll even include a delightful little piece from the Virgin herself about how she screamed at Joseph for dragging her to Bethlehem and not calling ahead for reservations. After all, it's not like an angel came and informed him of her pregnancy...oh wait...

Ah, we had that lovely experience Sunday morning. :) We had 3 of us sick at one time, and Elizabeth was sick the night before. So, needless to say, Jeff got to go to church by himself on Sunday :) Hope your New Year begins less eventfully!
