Is the "Reading Rainbow" song in your head now? Boy I hope so....
I actually googled it so I could remember the lyrics and I found a video in memory of LaVar Burton, who used to sing it on PBS and also played a Star Trek character. And I was dismayed to find that he is dead. Maybe you knew that, but I did not. Mr. Rogers, Reading Rainbow...where is PBS going to go from here?
(Actually, the video is very funny, as is the whole concept of the Reading Rainbow song...but it s not funny that LaVar is dead. Just to clarify).
Well, LaVar, I hope my love of reading, and the buds of this love in my children will serve your memory well.
