I get the house and the kids

Before Kevin and I were married, I remember having a conversation with him in which he expressed the sense that maybe he was meant for something other than the business world. Seven years later and that "sense" has come to fruition.
After working for Wells Fargo Financial and then Wells Fargo Bank for the last several years, Kevin has resigned his position and will be a full-time professor at Anderson University in the business department beginning this Fall semester. He is also working on his doctorate through Glasgow University in Scotland and will hopefully be finished with that in 2 years.
And so our life is changing--next week Kevin will move in with my parents (who live close to Anderson) and begin at AU, while I stay here with the kids until our house sells (which, judging from the recent housing crisis, could be decades), or until I lose my mind (which could just take a couple of days).
We are excited about this change, and even though I am a bit biased since I decided he was good enough to marry:), I am really proud of Kevin and I think he will make a great professor. We are looking forward to being involved in campus life and Kevin is excited to start teaching--and the summer vacation and 3 week Christmas break won't be too bad either.
It looks like the most difficult part will be waiting for our house to sell and making the transition to a new community. But we have sensed God's leading in all of this and we trust that He will work out all the details.

In the meantime though if you know of anyone who would be interested in a well maintained and tastefully decorated newer home in a charming country subdivision at a fantastic price, send them our way...
