Kevin surprised Cambel and me with doughnuts the other day. I have a slight addiction to all things sweet and baked, among these doughnuts being chief. Cambel has inherited from me this love for sweet delicacies (along with some other characteristics like crying easily, slight OCD tendencies, irrational anxiety, hot dance moves, and his eye color...lucky boy).
While we enjoyed our doughnuts, Cambel said "Daddy showed God's love." His context for this was actually what we have been teaching him about sharing and being kind--that you can share God's love with others when you share and are kind. Clearly his heart is purer than mine, because as he was thinking spiritual thoughts about the doughnuts, I was just reveling in the fact that they were chocolate and Kevin brought two so I didn't have to share mine.

Cute! I agree, God's love comes to us in all sorts of ways! Like in my coffee pot this morning! (is it bad that I think God made coffee just for me?) :)
