So, here's a few things I won't be trying again anytime soon:
1. Leaving Ada alone for a very short period of time with any kind of catalogue within her reach (see destroyed catalogue below. Not all of the pieces were accounted for. I am assuming some of them were digested--that's right, she gags on mushed up bananas, but apparently "Pottery Barn for Kids" slides right down).
2. Feeding Ada carrots. She just hates them. (See evidence below)
3. Somersaults. I tried to teach Cambel how to do one and I nearly broke my neck (no picture for this one--you can probably conjure up a mental one on your own). I don't remember being dizzy after a somersault when I was a kid...

Funny you should mention somersaults: last week Brian went WAY above and beyond the call of duty the other day and helped Haley MAKE her own board game, with squares that required specific actions for landing on them. Guess what was the first one he forced me to do? It is so much worse than I remember. And Brian was SO pleased with himself . . . that was worse than the dizziness and neck pain.
