Summer Feet

At the beginning of the summer I bought Cambel a pair of cheap flip-flops from Wal-Mart. These little sandals have had quite a summer. They have biked the cul-de-sac countless times (on a tricycle and more recently a big boy bike) and run across the yard to play with the neighbor kids. They have been to church camp and Nana and Poppa's, swimming, camping, running through the yard, swinging "so high", up and down slides, across playground equipment, to the library, to Dairy Queen, and on many hunting trips for rocks...

They have been on Cambel's little feet so frequently this summer that they have left white stripes across his otherwise tanned skin....the mark of a great summer (and a great buy).
