The solar eclipse was only partial here, but we made a day of it. We wrote and performed haikus, had a party with all kinds of moon and sun desserts, and watched the eclipse at the Living Arts and Science Center in Lexington. We didn't have glasses, but there were some to share and the kids made crafts. The most exciting part, besides the eclipse of course, was Oliver, Ada and her friend Gabby being interviewed by the news.
