Oliver's birthday coincided with our family vacation to Holden Beach. So instead of a party with just friends, he had a party with family and friends (his cousins that he loves). He requested a Lebron James cake and I did my best to deliver. Thankfully he is only 6, so just an orange cake trimmed in white with a number on it was enough.
Somehow we missed a picture of Oliver with Kevin and I, but it is not for lack of love:) Kevin reminded Oliver on his birthday that it was 6 years ago we were in this same place, praying for a child we did not yet know. And now here he is, 6 years old and such an integral and irreplaceable part of our family.
Oliver, we love your sense of humor, your energy, your athleticism, your place in our family. We are so grateful to be your parents and we can't wait to see what God does with you in the next 6 years.
