Once school starts and Asbury is in session, things get pretty busy. Add in cross country for everyone this year and some days we were just happy to have everyone fed and clothed.
That's why it is nothing short of miraculous that I killed it with Ada's Halloween costume this year. I am notoriously bad about costumes but this year she was Anne of Green Gables. It was my best work ever and I'll brag about it for the rest of her childhood. Also, she will need to be Anne for the rest of her childhood.
I mean look at that. The braids, the dress, the hat, the boots. Can you even believe I did that?

We didn't have enough leaves for much fun, but some friends did.
