When we named Oliver, we assumed that some day we would call him Ollie--you know, a normal and natural nickname for Oliver. But we like to keep things weird and somehow, without even meaning to, we started calling him "lervs". It's not even a derivative of Oliver. It shouldn't be his nickname, but we said it and it stuck and now "the lervs" he is.
