Some things we did

Life seems to full these days to stop and do much blogging--but I know if I don't keep up I will be disappointed later. And poor Oliver already is getting 3rd child syndrome--he is consistently getting schlepped along with the older kids for their stuff, he still hasn't had a decent birthday party, and I think  we have documented less of his life in pictures than the older 2 (although we do have lots of videos of him because: hot dance moves. This kid has them). So I will forge ahead, even though these postings may be out of order and disjointed.

We got free tickets for a ferry ride on the Kentucky River. The riveting beauty of the Palisades was awe inspiring enough to captivate the children for several minutes. When the spell wore off  they spent their time deciding which snack to buy and setting a record for how many times they could go up and down the spiral staircase.
More soccer. Cambel played this Fall too, but I have no idea if I ever even took a picture of him. I think when you have seen one soccer picture, you have seen them all.
One of Cambel's priorities is making sure he can take a good selfie. And we like to encourage excellence in all things.

Ada and I spent a morning at our community's fall craft fair. This girl loves to shop and getting her face painted was a bonus.
We are living without a dishwasher, which for a large portion of the world's population is no big deal. But I have decided that I was never grateful enough for my dishwasher and I hereby promise to love and cherish my dishwasher in the future, should I ever be lucky enough to own one again.
Ada and Oliver's relationship is taking a slow turn from "you drive me nuts all the time and mostly I just like to make you mad" to "most of the time you drive me nuts but every once in awhile I find you to be almost fun and slightly tolerable so I will dress you up in weird clothes." Oliver is all in when Ada wants to play with him--which probably explains why he allowed her to dress him like this.
