Oliver loves to sing. He loves to listen to music. He loves for us to sing to him. He loves to bang anything that resembles and drum and declare "making music." Music is in his DNA.
Every night and before naps I (or Kevin) sing to him and he is beginning to make requests for his favorite songs. One day I threw in a new one--the old chorus "Nothing is Impossible with God." I don't particularly like the tune of the song, but I remember singing it in church growing up and I guess I thought Oliver might like it.
Turns out he loves it. He requests it all the time. And now I think I know why.
He thinks we are singing about "popsicles." (He says "popsicles" "popicles"). So his new favorite song is "Popsicles with God." It must sound like heaven to him.
