We headed south for Thanksgiving this year. We ate, enjoyed good family time, helped decorate the tree, took a day to visit extended family, hiked, played with cousins, and ate some more.
There is no way to express how much we have to be thankful for. Especially in light of what is going on in Oliver's birth country where so many people have been driven from their homes because of violence, we know that we have more than we deserve.
We are thankful.
