Our agency hosted an Africa Party this past weekend. Many of the in-country staff were there, as well as other families who have adopted from Africa.
Right away when we walked in, Oliver was taken from us by this woman:
She is the social worker who helped to place him in our family. Through an interpreter she told me how happy it makes her to see these children in families.
Marie, our lawyer, was happy to see him too.
There was something so special about meeting the people who knew Oliver before we did and helped to bring him home.
