What a trooper!

Since Oliver is from a country whose health care and infrastructure is vastly different than ours, we have been taking him to various doctor appointments to make sure his vaccines are up to date, testing him for various parasites via the collection of stool samples (oh my world. that was really gross and since it had to be back at the lab within an hour of collecting it, I ended up running through the hospital with a bag of...well....anyway, it was gross), figuring out how to take care of his skin, and checking with various doctors to make sure we are doing all we need to do to ensure his health and growth.
Our latest appointment was at an international adoption clinic in Indy where they know all the right questions to ask and what tests need to be run.  Unfortunately for Oliver, these tests involved taking several vials of blood. Poor kid!  At least he recovered enough for a cute picture before his bath.
And in case you were wondering, no parasites.
