We are still waiting for our embassy appointment (scheduled for Monday). If you have been following the news, you have probably seen that our child's birth country is in the middle of elections. The results are supposed to be announced any day now, and the country is preparing for an eruption of violence in the form of protests, a refusal to accept the results, and crackdowns by the police. We are unsure if or how this will affect our process.
We are more and more anxious to have him home.
I think of him so often, that sometime I am surprised to remember that he isn't here with us.
