Awhile ago we camped
Back in the last days of Summer and early days of Fall (with the nasty weather already making an appearance, it just seems so long ago) we camped. We did it big this time with bacon, eggs, and pancakes for breakfast (take that Ma Ingalls) and Bear Grylls Kevin managed to start a roaring fire with a flint and some kindling despite everything being wet from a recent rain.
Kevin bought the kids a more sophisticated looking version of a glow stick and late into the starry night we saw their glow lights bouncing all around as theycontinually ignored our pleas for them to go to sleep marveled at the ability of something TO LIGHT UP! IN DIFFERENT COLORS! ALL ON ITS OWN! Much to my surprise, this camping thing has really become a family favorite, and I have to admit that I enjoy it too (but I am always glad to get home to a shower and my own bed).
