A picture would be helpful here

Our summer has gotten off to a bit of busy start.
Unfortunately, my camera has been out of commission for most of it (and by "out of commission" I might mean I keep forgetting to bring it along and/or it needs new batteries and I have failed to buy some).

If  however I were taking pictures to document all the fun, it might look something like this:

Look, a camp out with the cousins for Isaiah's birthday! Just look at how much fun they are having and how dirty they are!

Here are Ada and Cambel sleeping in the play tent together in Cambel's room. Look how sweet they are all cuddled up in their tent together.

A week of VBS. See Cambel and Ada's cute VBS shirts? And see how tired and desperate I look after a week of helping out with preschool recreation?

And another camp out with the cousins! Cambel's gift to Kevin for Father's day was to "take" him camping, so we made the trip up to Ligonier again and the boys camped with Nate and Isaiah.  Again, see how dirty and happy they are?

And what a cute picture of Kevin and the kids on Father's day. What a great Dad they have!

And what fun to have a sleep over with a friend from "home." Cambel's friend Grant spent the night with us and the boys loved playing basketball and Star Wars, and they even had a water balloon fight and played in the sprinkler (see, they are soaked and happy).

I did finally pick up some batteries yesterday, so the next post should usher in a summer full of pictures on the blog.

You might add one - Look at the zillion mosquito bites all over my sister's legs because she didn't use insect repellant! Seriously, I would like to scratch my legs with a brillo pad. It's pretty miserable.

Oh my gosh, I did recreation for our VBS, too. I had to nap every afternoon. EXHAUSTING!!
