So we camped.
Actually we camped a few weeks ago, but I forgot the camera and then got busy with the homestudy and a gargantuan garage sale and a few other things and I just didn't have the energy to put our camping trip into words with no pictures to take up space. (Yes, I just wrote a 1 sentence paragraph. Looks like words are not a problem for me).
The family camping trip went well and ended with Cambel catching his first bass with no help. It must have been his new Spiderman fishing rod. Or curiosity got the best of the fish and he had to investigate the brightly colored worm falling from the tree Cambel cast into. (Curiosity kills more than just cats). Either way Cambel reeled it in all by himself and then we all just looked at it to burn it into our memories since I forgot the camera.
The best moment of the the trip was when Cambel and Ada were waking up. Cambel rolled over opened his eyes and seeing me just inches from his face since things are a little cramped in the tent, he started to talk. The first thing he said was:
"Do you actually know that we have the most awesomest lives ever?"
Well son, sleeping in a small tent doesn't usually prompt such praise for life from me, but yes, we do have a pretty awesome life.
And next time I'll remember the camera.

Did you know that you have one of the most awesomest boys ever? And Grant thinks so too.
