Camping in the cold...the real cold

Kevin has developed a real fondness for camping. He loves to camp with Cambel and has big plans for our family to camp together...a lot. While I have mixed feelings about this (an internal conflict between enjoying nature and family time, and enjoying indoor plumbing and a soft bed), I have NO mixed feelings about camping in the cold. I refuse to do it and I have no desire to submit myself to the elements when a perfectly warm and snug house and some primetime television is available.
So obviously I was absent when Kevin fulfilled his crazy idea of seeing if he and Cambel could camp out during the winter. You read that right. Kevin and Cambel camped in the middle of a bitterly cold and windy Indiana winter.
And although they survived, they were as miserable as Cambel looks in this picture. Kevin is maybe crazy, but Cambel is only 5 and since he is too young to be called crazy, we think the only thing that kept him from crying to come home was sheer will and a unflappable admiration for his father (and 2 sleeping bags, layers of clothes, several blankets, a hat, and the hope of a warm bath when it was finally morning). After coming home and warming up, Kevin said they won't be camping again until the temperature is a bit higher.

We are all about vacationing with you guys, but I will warn you that temps must be maintained between a low of 60 and a high of 80 within whatever our sleeping quarters may be. As in, unless Haley finally wears us down to let her try camping, I will require a thermostat.

Don't worry, I am in total support of your temperature requirements.
Haley could just go camping with Kevin and Cambel and then you are off the hook.
