One of Ada's gift from Nana and Papa was a foam house that could be built...and then decorated with about 5000 sticky adornments that had to first be punched out of foam sheets. Knowing how much joy it would bring anyone to help Ada assemble this lovely house, I selflessly gave Papa the opportunity. It seemed easy enough at first for just the two of them,
but Kevin had to step in to help, and then, despite my efforts to avoid the project, I lent a helping hand as well
and slowly the house began to take shape. Papa and I quickly became two grown adults intent on an impossible mission to assemble the house according to the instructions, while Ada quickly lost interest in doing anything helpful.
Finally, success. Papa and I could not have been prouder (although Ada insisted on taking credit for it).
