Somebody bite me in the show-der

On Wednesday nights Kevin and I attend a Bible study at church and Ada stays in the nursery. Last night when we went to pick her up the children's worker regretfully informed us that Ada had been bitten by another boy in the room because "they weren't getting along." I felt bad for Ada but we were in need of some blog material and her continual verbal reprocessing of her tragedy during the entire car ride home proved to be rather entertaining. (There is also a good chance that the boy was provoked. As her mother I can say that although she is sweet and cute, the girl is more than capable of inciting frustration).

The whole way home, we heard something like this:

"Somebody bite me on the show-der. It was a boy. That was not nice. He went in time out. I cried and cried." Following a short pause she would recite it all again. She was more than willing to perform for the camera, although the 183rd recitation was not quite as funny as it was the first 50 times.

I think it is probably more hilarious that you have to prompt her. I can just picture the whole thing, from the ride home - non-stop to the camera coming on!
Poor Ada!
