St. Louis

Last weekend we made our first trip to St. Louis to visit my sister Emily and her family in their new home there. We are so excited that they are several hours closer to us now. We all had a great time seeing St. Louis and spending time with Emily, Adriel, and Eliana.
Cambel and Ada were thrilled to see their cousin. Cambel took it upon himself to "teach" Eliana how to walk and a few other important developmental lessons. I heard him say to her "just make it over here and then you can take a rest." He is a driven child.
Eliana didn't seem to mind the instruction from Cambel, but Ada drove her crazy. Of course Ada was oblivious to Eliana's dislike of her presence and told me how much Eliana loved her. She is a child in denial.

Visiting the Arch

Cuddling on the couch (this would be before Eliana head-butted Ada)
Swinging lessons
Emily and Adriel worked hard to prepare a beautiful and delicious birthday meal-complete with 31 candles for me. I needed some help with the huge flame.
