Live from Israel!

Yesterday I landed in Tel Aviv Israel. It is hard to believe that this is where I really am. I never even dreamed that I would have the opportunity to be in Israel and to see first hand the land that I read about in the Bible. But here I am.

This morning my parents and my sister Anne and I all walked down to the beach of the Mediterranean Sea. (Besides the obvious pleasure of being in Israel, it was a real joy to see the sun, and to experience and breeze that does not make you wish you were hibernating through the winter). It is beautiful!

We will eat breakfast and then head out with our guide on our bus and see several sites. We end the day in Arad. My plan is to be able to update the blog as a way to chronicle my trip and remember all the things we will see and do.

For now it is enough to say I am here....in Israel!
