This past weekend we took Cambel on a bike ride. We found a very dead and very flattened squirrel on the road that had been "bonked"(to use Cambel's term) by a car. Yesterday Kevin took Cambel to Wal-Mart and in the parking lot he reminded him of the importance of holding hands so that he would be safe from all the cars. Apparently this conjured up memories of the dead squirrel and Cambel concluded that the squirrel met his untimely death because "squirrels can't hold hands."
Could we start some sort of educational program/hand holding initiative for these poor squirrels?
