Anne and I took the kids over to the Middlebury Fall Festival this weekend, where we spent an inordinate amount of money on hot dogs, tacos, bottled water, elephant ears, cookies, and kettle corn. But it was worth it and we were not disappointed. Every fat and sugar laden bite was great. (We will be publishing our book on feeding your children healthy meals later this year). Good thing festivals are only once a year....
After all that deep fried fat and sugar, Cambel has decided that vegetables are even grosser than he originally thought. Even as I type this we are nearing the end of a marathon stay at the table while Cambel tries to force down his broccoli and cauliflower while crying. (My book on effective parenting skills will also be on bookshelves across the country soon).
