we have acquired a few new things over the last several days. cambel spent part of last week with his nana and papa--and he came home with a lot more toys than we sent with him. (kevin and i have recently discovered that it is a grandparent's right to buy their grandchildren whatever he or she wants:)). he modeled all his new things for the camera. cambel had a great time with his nana and papa, and although he was excited when i picked him up (exclaiming "we found you!"), he talked on the way home about how much fun he had and how his missed his grandparents.
on the way home from picking cambel up i added to the toy pile-up by picking up a train table and several accessories i found on craig's list--my new favorite website. i got a great deal on it and cambel is thrilled to have a place for all his trains. i was pretty proud of myself for building what appears to be an impressive track, but i recently realized that were the tracks real, one route would end in catastrophic loss (causing much confusion and delay as they say on "thomas the train).
we also have borrowed a bumbo seat from aunt laura for ada. she doesn't quite have the head control thing down, but she seemed to like it. i think it will be a favorite of hers just as soon as she can get those neck muscles under control--or get a smaller and lighter head.
and i couldn't resist throwing in another picture of ada smiling. we love it when she does that.
